Featured Artist: Erin Patton McFarren

This week's featured Artist in Residence is Erin Patton McFarren and her beautiful cyanotypes! We love the consistency she's built between her online platforms and think you will, too. 

Let's start off with her great head shot above! Inside The Residency we share some of our top tips for head shots of artists and we can see several of these points in this picture. Erin is looking straight on to the camera while wearing solid colors and season neutral clothing! She grabs your attention and it is an engaging shot sharing some personality of the artist behind the work! The colors in this headshot are found throughout her Instagram feed and website, too. We appreciate how she displays her work in multiple lighting situations and backdrops to help her collectors have a full idea of what her work might look like in a variety of settings.
