Featured Artist: Maria Reichert

Join us in congratulating Artist in Residence Maria Reichert on her most recent collection release, "Herding Cows". Inspired by her background as a veterinarian and her respect for the animals, we've loved watching this collection unfold online and hearing about it's progress in The Residency's Facebook group. 

One of our favorite things about Maria's collection is the photography she used for her art! The staging is really beautifully done, tastefully incorporating plants and baskets to subtly provide scale to her work. The lighting was also bright and clear, with the whites in her photographs being crisp and true to life. We're sure this helped her collector's feel confident in knowing what would arrive on their doorstep after purchase! Finally, we love the full collection shot because this helps share Maria along with her work, provides a personal connection point for her audience and builds that know, like and trust factor. When you look back through her Instagram feed we are so pleased to see how often Maria included video content as well as smart cover images that continued to highlight a variety of details of her work and studio. We love the range of full work, detail shots, including materials and her pets in the background. Really wonderful job, Maria and we're so happy for you on this recent launch!
