Featured Member: Kathleen Reitz

For this week, we'd love to shine a spotlight on Artist in Residence Kathleen Reitz and her art studio! We love the progress we've seen in her posting strategy on Instagram and how she balances her posts between all part of her business.

Kathleen's artwork is typically abstract, florals or a combination of the two. And we love how she's been including herself and the tools used in her process into her feed more! This emphasizes the handmade, one of a kind aspect of her work because you can see her as part of the equation. But in addition to finding a posting rhythm for her artwork, she has found a way to expand her business to include multiple streams of income and share it seamlessly! Kathleen includes functional art as a part of her studio offerings, such as scarves, journals and more. Along with being a member of The Residency, Kathleen was a member of our beta run of The Profitable Art Course! Over the past few months she's put together her own online course teaching painting to others and has smoothly incorporated it into her Instagram strategy, too. Her determination to find new ways to diversify and support her art is inspiring and we are happy to see how things are coming together!
